To commemorate the milestone 5th anniversary of the Camp Fire and showcase our community’s incredible growth, RPF created sunset-themed tile murals at Paradise Community Park for everyone to enjoy. The murals are made up of handprints, ages, and initials of over 2,500 children living in the Camp Fire-affected area. This incredible art installation serves as a permanent tribute to the spirit of our community and a reminder that our kids have a bright future here on The Ridge. This project began in the summer of 2023 and was completed in time for the 6th anniversary of the Camp Fire in November 2024.
The project was funded by many locals, organizations, and businesses, whose names are displayed on a plaque on one of the walls. A special thank you goes out to T-Mobile who awarded us their $50,000 Hometown Grant for this special project. This would not have been possible without the financial support and community volunteers who contributed.
